I really hope the Barb storyline does not eat up too much time in S2

I wish the Duffer bros. had just included a scene with characters mourning her just so people can STFU about her fate. I'm dissapointed to read that Stranger Things S2 will address her fate. Seems like it's just fan service. I feel like it was clearly their intention to be done with her.

Then again, I am not the creator of a genius TV show. The Duffer bros. want to focus on Barb, maybe they know what's best.

Don't worry, I don't think they will invest too much into that. It's probably going to be mainly a part of Nancy's character development, where she will mention Barb a lot and essentially still be grieving over her death.

Another possiblity is that the new character played by Brett Gelman is going to investigate her disappearence, since he is being described as "a disgraced journalist-turned-conspiracy theorist who is investigating a cold case in the small Indiana town".

This would be a good way of tying the questions that fans have over Barb into the story, since it also makes sense for the characters in Hawkins to ask themselves what really happened to her. So this guy is surely going to make Hopper's job of keeping everything under wraps much harder.

Season 2 sounds interesting so far.
