I think many child actors are typically better than given credit. It's often the writing that is bad. Good writing met good talent here.

sharePart of why I thought they should have done Stranger Things as an anthology series but keep the same cast just playing different characters, I really thought the kids were great and I'd like to see what else they can do.

shareYes, they are very convincing. One forgets that one is watching a TV series as it seems like we're witnessing real life situations when they are playing board games or plotting what to do. And it is amazing that we got this feeling from a show with so many sci-fi/fantasy elements and these talented kids still managed to make it feel like real life.
