If you bought a DVD of this show, it's a bootleg release because no official version currently exists. People keep asking this question about a bluray edition of Season 1 so here's a helpful tip. If you search for Stranger Things Season 1 Blu-ray on any search engine and it doesn't fill up with results from every major online retailer, it's not available yet or about to released.
When Netflix releases shows on bluray (and despite consumer demand they sometimes don't) the likely time is a month or two prior to the new season premiering. It's a marketing thing. They'd be fools to forego the kind of revenue this show could generate for them on bluray and 4K disc. My personal guess as to when that will be is, either May or June of this year.

shareI bought a copy on ebay from an American seller, it was shipped from China... it worked, and if it's a bootleg it is the most amazing bootleg I've ever seen. Complete American looking artwork and a slipcover. Less than 10 bucks. So worth every penny.
shareIt may be an early leak of the official release. If that's the case, then the bluray set will probably be out a lot sooner than the May or June I was speculating.
