These kids didn't play video games?

I'm kind of surprised we never saw these kids play Atari, ColecoVision or Intellivision. Or at least play an arcade game somewhere.

Video games have a significant role in Season Two.

The creators made brilliant use of the game titles and action in the movie: Dragon's Lair, Dig Dug, Centipede. Love those Duffers.

It's not like today where kids sit infront of their TVs after school until bedtime playing video games.

Also, if they had a system I doubt they had their own TV sets. They were hanging out in their rooms and stuff. Weren't having their own TVs in their room.

I had Coleco and Atari at this time and honestly, as much as we liked the games, it wasn't something we did for hours on end. At that time we were more interested in going out and doing things. Arcades were bigger than home games, but you could only play them for a short time since the money ran out fast.
