Detective Arnold's Partner Possible Spoilers

I forget if her name was mentioned, and I can't find the actress's name by trying to find another character with "Detective" before the name. Anyway, I find it very unrealistic that A. Christine would have looked hurt and ready to cry,and therefore thrown her cane away, rather than be angry and turning around and confronting the detective for her callousness and insensitivity toward others. And B., that she wouldn't have been called out for her immature behavior (the detective) by her Lieutenant and reprimanded. This bothered me a lot about that scene. It just struck me as highly unprofessional, and I was surprised it was tolerated.

I think the detective you are referring to might be Cortez played by Heather Mazar. The lady detective who mimicked Christine on her walking aid. Police officers aren't known for their sensitivity but that mimic was really callous. The irony was that it was Christine who had to go on a sensitivity course for not dealing with that 911 call in the right manner.
