Lovers? Siblings? Father and daughter?
From the photo that the blonde detective found, I would guess that either they were half/step siblings, or he is her father. Either way, he was creepy! I was a bit suspicious of him early on, he was creepy!
shareThe actor "Mark" always looks creepy. I've seen him in other shows. I think he's a fantastic actor. I've seen him in Death in Paradise and some other stuff, and whenever I see him, I'm intrigued. I feel Katy might be his sibling or maybe they grew up in a foster home together and he took care of her until he left. That's why he had told her he would never never leave her alone.
I enjoyed the series and wish they would continue and give us another 4 eps with some further closure of Mark and Katy's relationship.
The ability to always see the worst in people and situations is often a hiding place for fear.
I think they maybe grew up in the same foster family or orphanage or something like that. After all, he did say "We came from the same place"...but not in a sense that suggested they were actually siblings.
