Looking forward to this
The animated version is such a well made, funny and adventurous Disney version of a beloved classic story. The musical soundtrack was quite strong and the story had a great villain.
shareI am ecstatic. The animated version is one of Disney’s greatest, so fingers crossed this upcoming live-action movie will not only be good, but end up being one of their best movies as well.
shareI have seen the Disney Animated version several times and the scene where Mulan sneaks out to replace her father is outstandingly done.
Many of the Mushu jokes, as done by Eddie Murphy, are just spot on but I don't expect that part (the humor played out that way) to be part of the Live Action version. The balance of humor and drama is perfect (to me) in the animated version.
Casting is not complete but I just don't feel that Disney will go the direction of over the top comedic elements in a beloved story such as this..
