Fauda with English subtitles

If anyone finds it, please post

Any lucky finding subtitles?

I watched the entire first season at a Jewish film festival today with English subtitles so maybe the DVD set with them will be released soon. FYI, the show is amazing!

Kickass torrents (kat.cr) has the first three episodes with subtitles

It popped up on Netflix today - I assume it's sub-titled, since even the Korean series have them. This link might work (if you are subscribed... if you're not, why not? For the price of one mindless Hollywood movie at the cinema, you have access to a decent library of mini-series, and some decent recent first-run films?)

Netflix captions in English not always easy to read when background is light. Also, the Jewish actors are overdubbed in Spanish when speaking in Hebrew, Arabic is spoken by Palestinians or the Israelis when speaking in Arabic

reply

Change your language setting from Spanish to Hebrew and set subtitles to English. When Arabic is spoken, the English subtitles appear in brackets.

I have been watching it in the US and the actors are dubbed over in English when speaking Hebrew, but subtitled when speaking Arabic. Or....another language?

Anyway it's stupid. It doesn't work. If we can have subtitles in one language, then why not another? The American accents are too perfunctory. I mean it's competently done, but it would be so much better in Hebrew. And I don't even understand it. I only know it would work better in the original language.

I just started it and I knew something was off. The two Isrealis talking in the vineyard were crazy out of sync. It was delivered in English, but they weren't speaking it.

I'm gonna miss this board- I've not had a bad experience- so far. Where are people migrating to?
