sharePeople in Indian watch films for their stars, not for content. Thats why, you may have heard ppl saying xyz is SRK's film, Or zyx is Sallu's film or Hritik's yada yada. Another major reason billion dollar budgeted films equivalent of Star wars or Warcraft or LOTR, will forever remain unheard of in India. All this hullabaloo of Bollywood being a huge industry is cuz of its population.
International quality films will never be produced here. Not 50 years from now...not 100... never. Just the odd nomination.
