Putting this show on Boomerang was a death sentence

Not as many people have that network as they do CN. And look at the ratings for the first two Boomerang-aired episodes - they don't even come close to the ratings the show had on CN. The network's limited distribution is hurting the show.

To me this move is just as bad as moving Monday Night Football from ABC to ESPN. That show is not as good anymore since the network change. Part of me even thinks the ABC and ESPN versions of MNF are two separate programs, and that's how they should be listed on IMDB.

It's all part of the stew itself. Boomerang ran on autopilot for so long because CN didn't feel the back catalog was marketable anymore (which they weren't exactly accurate on). As more and more time went on the channel only got limited pickup as each and every year the potential audience for the channel dwindled as more and more of the shows Boomerang COULD be airing, got released on dvd and other platforms. At this point, a lot of people DON'T WANT a cable channel anymore.

So they tried to rebrand Boomerang in hopes of getting more marketability which so far seems to have flopped. As for most part they only show a little bit of their back catalog and then give us CN-ordered reboots of older properties that are more in line to the current gen of CN comedy. Which clearly isn't going to make everyone happy.

The poor Looney Tunes themselves have kind of seen their world fall apart. A lack of sales and confidence seems to have all their projects be "throw something at the wall and hope something does great". And so far it didn't look like Rabbit's Run or Wabbit are lighting any old fire.

I'm not as hateful on this specific show as some of the others here, but i'm just wondering how many more chances the LT's are going to get if they keep continuing this trend.

Much as it pains me to admit it, CN was fantastic when Ted Turner was at the helm.
Not only were the great cartoon classics aired regularly, but the promos were absolutely hilarious.
I particularly loved the ones about "romances" between Race Bannon and Betty Rubble, and between Johnny Bravo and Velma Dinkley, LOL!

Sadly, since he left, both CN and Boomerang have been sinking in quicksand.
Most of the cartoons made in the last 20+ years have been horrible, and WABBIT is definitely among them.

Oh, for the days of Popeye, the Pink Panther, and those wonderful WB and MGM toons of the '30's and '40's!
