There will be Christmas special???

In GQ magazinne they asked about the ambiguous final, and Jonathan Groff told them that we would find out in the christmas especial.

Is it true? will we have a little more looking?

reply

Just read the same GQ article, and he does say about finding out what happens next in the Christmas special. Hard to believe!

reply

Wait, what? There will be more Looking goodness? It doesn't seem possible (especially considering how the movie was supposed to wrap everything up since HBO refused to invest in the show by giving it another season and how loose ends were ALL tied together at the end of the movie). I therefore don't want to raise my expectations, but... Someone please, PLEASE tell me that it's true!

reply

I'm guessing you mean this artice?

Just read it and it fees like a jokey answer. Sadly. 

reply

I expected it to be true, but always doubting

reply

I think he says it almost as a joke or as if not to give anything away because the story has now been left to the viewers imagination.

reply

I think it's a joke as well. As much as I'd love to watch more, I don't think Looking is the kind of property to inspire multiple TV movies and specials.

reply

I think he was joking; he's probably alluding to the fact that Downton Abbey had Christmas special episodes in the past. I'm happy with the ending. Glad we got the movie to wrap up their story.

reply

I agree. I'm sure he was joking.

reply

Not only that, but long before we had Downton, Russell was on a Christmas episode of Doctor Who, so it could even stem from that.
