WoooooooHoooooooo.... .spoilers

Finally got to see it. They pretty much wrote my exact hopes and dreams for how this would wrap up! Team Richie!!!!! I'm so happy and sad. I waited all this time to get what I wanted and now I have to go through withdrawals again after losing my group of friends for the last time.

I guess we have to go back and watch all the episodes yet again. :) I have seen Season 1 episodes at least a couple of times, but I think for some of the Season 2 episodes, I only watched them once - will be interesting to go back and watch.

I've only watched them on the original air dates, so I think I'm going to follow your lead and rewatch the entire run.

I am so not Team Ritchie. I don't like his acting. That Goonies impersonation ?? The worst.

In my head as a fellow "Team Richie" member I can imagine that they had their "Happily ever after!"

reply

Me too. They now have two children. One Hispanic and one black, lol.

reply

No kids but two dogs, in my mind anyway. Love the last shot of the two of them. Just thinking about it again makes me well up tears of joy.

Two girls, according to Richie's senora. 

I'm rewatching the movie for my favorite Patrick/Richie bits. I'm going to try and draw that delight out before I start thinking about the happily ever after that I have to believe in for the two of them... :)

I love this movie so much because it surprised me, I did not see it coming. I watched assuming my hope of Richie and Patrick being together would never ever be realised. I didn't see the movie going in that direction at all, a fan fulfilling direction. The writer's listened! I wonder if they tried to make Kevin work but then saw the undeniable chemistry between Richie and Paddy. It just extracted the fan girl out of me. That last beautiful scene was so intense.
