It's not a comedy

I think the film was fine, but I agree that it's not (primarily) a comedy. It's more of a romantic drama with some elements of comedy. There was some slightly amusing moments, but not one time I was crying with laughter. Maybe it should have been marketed as a drama instead. It was good in that department.

Came here four years later to echo this sentiment. Nothing funny about this movie. Additionally, two characters "fall in love" but the movie does a poor job of showing us how those two characters could be in love. The time period was short, they didn't spend much time together, and there was no chemistry. So it isn't a romance either. The movie fails on multiple fronts.
