All I see when I look at the characterization of the strange Amy character is Amy Sedaris's character of Jerry Black from Strangers with Candy. So distracting.

Yup, I know what you're saying. It's because she does the same mouth grimace thing that Jerry did. Like she's about to fit a slice of pizza sideways into her mouth and you can only see her bottom teeth. Jerry's perma-expression.
