Shocking...

It just popped up on Hulu, and I'd never heard of it, so I thought I would give it a try. But by the 2 minute mark I had to bail out. First strike was the hacky joke about firemen not having dalmatians. Next, a bossy woman who's caricature one dimensional antagonist position was hurled at the viewer hard and fast, started speaking. She brought up "silicone" valley, I had to hit replay because I almost couldn't believe it. But, there it was, not a joke, just said "silicone valley" rather than "silicon" valley. Unless it's a joke and some sex reference, or something to do with a boob job in a joke form, that was shocking.

There really is no excuse for a show so poor that one is distracted twice by the words in the first two minutes. It seemed clear that it wasn't going to be a show I could ever "get into" unless it was contorted into some sort of drinking game.

Its a low budget show. But its an okay show for what it is. IIts only 7 episodes.

Your autism is what's shocking. It's a goofy comedy show, get over yourself nerd.

Agreed

Thank god not many people care about the opinions of someone who bailed out after 2 minutes. Let pilots be pilots and find their feet. You're probably the reason Firefly got cancelled. You monster.

Can I get an amen!

Amen!

Grayzombie, nice comeback. I didn't like poor writing, so I'm the reason Firefly got canceled! LOL. Seriously, that was funny. If only Resident Advisors had writers as funny as you!

Cripes...your autism is just so strong.

Do you even know what autism means?

A good laugh and a long sleep are the two best cures for anything.

Yeah it just popped up on HULU for me as well, but my response to it was very much different than yours. To each their own I guess. It wasn't the best comedic relief we could have asked for, but it provided some to the point where it kept me wanting more. I think the fact that it's only 7 eps is what I liked about it as well. I do agree, there were some cheesy (non-laughable) moments, but overall it was a decent short story-arc show. It gave us enough to want a season 2. The characters definitely needs to be more developed more in the next season.

I had to bail the second time they said "Dormitory." Even if you HATE being an RA it is drilled into you from Day 1 that a "Dorm" is where you sleep; A Residence Hall is where you live and we want students to feel they live in their halls to maintain on campus residence.
