Art in the film ?

Does anyone know what that painting was in the background behind amy Adams of a man holding a gun to another's head in a wide angle shot? Can't find artist/image online Also what was the name and artist of the Revenge painting in her office building?

I'm not sure if either of these are "real" works of art, but I might be wrong! The Revenge painting is in the style of Christopher Wool, but I just gave it a Google and couldn't find it, so i think they just got someone to paint it in his style.
And the shooting photo reminded me of Eddie Adams' Saigon execution photo - am not sure if they got someone to paint an interpretation of the image for the film, or if it was an original work. I'm an art journalist and it wasn't familiar to me, but there are probably loads of works that I couldn't identify! The Jeff Koons puppy looked authentic though...

The Koons piece was definitely genuine, as was Damien Hirst's "St Sebastian: Exquisite Pain": both have been mentioned a lot in reviews of the film.

Having said that, I had similar thoughts to you about the two works the OP is asking about. The "REVENGE" painting just seemed a little too "convenient", and therefore made me suspect it had been commissioned for the film (although you never know...) Also the "execution" piece made me think of the famous Saigon photo too, but it could still be an already-existing work that was inspired by that photo...
