shareHollow Man, which was much more traumatic to be honest. Hollywood must agree because when I caught it recently on Starz, they edited it down to a second and a half of the bad guy grabbing the girl, cutting out completely the rape and horrible sobbing aftermath.

Well I guess first we'd have to define "recent." But they have a very short rape scene based on what the father saw in his nightmares.
If you watch nearly any season of American Horror Story, you're going to see a brutal rape, far more graphic than what was in his movie. But even if we stick with just movies, I'm assuming you haven't seen The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Well, I obviously disagree. I generally have a very hard time with rape scenes. While I was uncomfortable with this one, I can name several that make me far more uncomfortable due to the length and brutality.
