(((hollyweird))) just can't stop pushing the homosexual agenda

So the dinner scene with Amy and Jake where she talked about how her gay brother had a crush on Jake's character and slipped in some anti-Republicans trash talk........ TOTALLY UNNECESSARY SCENE. But (((hollyweird))) being (((hollyweird))), gotta push that homo agenda! When this movie comes out on blu-ray, somebody needs to make a 'no homo-edit' of this film and remove that scene entirely and also delete the opening credits scene (BARF).

I got to see this movie for free and after that dinner scene, I got up and walked out and yelled out "Enough with the gay agenda in movies!". A handful of people cheered and I got a "TESTIFY" from somebody a few rows back.

Can't wait for Sharia law to take over in the USA so people that make this garbage will be drug from their mansions by Muslim extremists and executed.

Libtard? btw most Republicans I know aren't homophobic ..

Stop being so triggered by it, Tom Ford is a gay man, his film has an off screen gay character, not a big deal

This is what libtards do when they see somebody that opposes the homosexual agenda..... bust out the "he must be a closeted homo" card.

Because it's usually the truth.

People like you are the reason the IMDb board is going away. Thanks for that.

My thoughts too. No doubt Gene thinks he's pretty butch, but I suspect Tom of Finland and Al Pacino in Cruising get him pretty hot and bothered. It's always the same with these homophobes - they think aggression hides their real tendencies. Ain't that so, Gene?

Thank you for this post. I said the exact same thing in another thread. Finally someone who's not hypnotised yet.

Well, let's see, Tom Ford is gay, so naturally, there will be SOME reference to sexuality, be it gay or straight or pan, in the work. Do you think Gus Van Sant and Pedro Almodóvar "butch it up" at the drop of a hat? Not to mention the "gay" characters (not just Susan's unseen brother, but Michael Sheen's character) are important parts of Susan's backstory, so naturally, they're not there just to push a button, but to further inform the audience of what kind of person Susan is.

As for the "Republican" jab, considering Ford grew up in Texas and New Mexico and came from a decent family, perhaps at the time, the description was an apt depiction of some of his family's friends?

People act like people just write shocking, confrontational things just to be edgy and neglect to think that perhaps a writer is using examples from his own life to inform his characters' lives. It's like the elements from Ford's personal life that were used to further develop the Colin Firth character in "A Single Man".

There's a difference between a differing opinion and a forced one.

Some of the people posting here are as sophisticated as the three thugs on that road in West Texas

Except nowhere near as arousing as Aaron Taylor-Johnson or Karl Glusman.

You are aware this is an independent release that was then distributed by a smaller distribution studio, right?

I love how people make a big deal about how "Hollyweird" is out to get everyone, yet they lack the basic knowledge to understand not every movie is made by Hollywood.

Also, bravo on the thinly veiled anti-Semitism in your topic title. I almost didn't puck up on it until I remembered a story I read about what that ((())) symbol means.

Lead female has been married. Can't believe this movie would shove that heterosexual agenda down our throats!

reply

Imagine seeing a movie made by a very publicly gay fashion designer turned filmmaker, then being mad about the "gay agenda" in one scene from his movie. I hope you don't watch A Single Man next.

reply

Too bad those fools in Hollyweird don't realize that in shoving that disgusting agenda down our throats, they're alienating their largest customer base, which is the Straight crowd, and don't want to admit they're losing revenue over it. It's why they are going out of their way to branch out internationally, because frankly, in the US they're going down the drain. To be honest, catering to a tiny group of nutjobs, vs. the rest of America, is not a good marketing strategy, and no matter how much propaganda is being spewed, most sensible people are not going to change their minds in how they feel about the LGBT community.

reply

I agree. This scene (along with the one with that artist's gay husband) was COMPLETELY unnecessairy. Yet they still CHOSE to put it in there to push their pro-gay agenda.
