Just WHERE in the WORLD was this filmed?

I can't figure it out. It's so magical looking. I know it's supposed to take place in New Jersey but man oh man that coastline and those houses on the cliff did NOT look like Jersey. It looked more like Vancouver BC somewhere. Maybe the island? Does anyone have a name for the exact town they filmed this in? I want to live there forever.

Southern New Jersey, Cape May area looks like that. All of the street signs and architecture indicate filming in the USA.
