The "pastor"makes Gilligan look smart

This guy is the dumbest person on Earth. Seriously stupid.

ANYONE lucky enough to fall into that great deal is an EFFING moron? Who cannot figure out what is going on by picking up a couple of effing books????

And DOESN'T SHAVE?

What is it with NO leading man on TV having a razor???

The guy is a complete and total slob and everyone just thinks they have a quirky gay pastor?????

I really want to like this show. Honestly but please stop having this guy be so freaking stupid. He walks around with his mouth open, dresses like a slob, stoned and drinking, dumb as a box of rocks and we are supposed to find this fall down hilarious?

Come on writers give him some smarts. NO ONE is this stupid.

For an opinion? WOW, go crawl back under your rock.

And in the meantime do the world a favor and throw your computer away as you obviously have NO intelligent use for it.

He absolutely should read up more on the Lutheran sect as its much more into discussing church history and theology than most Protestant sects and I think the writers have been way too lazy on that when all the books are most likely already in his new house library, it would take only a weekend to get through most of them and he can easily read the synopses online too. He would also have to tone down a lot of the smoking and drinking and sex, at least keep very quiet about it, his lifestyle would not even be acceptable for a straight Lutheran pastor. Alot more people would hear about his escapades too in that small town.

How about you stick to Nascar, that's more your speed.

Another idiot comment.

Seriously stupid.

WHAT THE HELL does that have to do with my criticism of the show you moron?

Oh and I hate NASCAR waste of time and only works with Teabillies like yourself.

Why do you 'really want to like' a show if you don't like it?
That doesn't make sense....

LOL That seems to be the go-to preface on this site when folks don't like a show. But it never fails to crack me up.

I guess they feel by starting off their comments with that line they won't come off as sounding too harsh, etc. when they follow it up with critical statements about the show in question.

Makes perfect sense though. You might really like the premise, or really like the actors etc etc.

Star Wars Episode 1 is hated by many fans. Dont you think that they wanted to like it?

And me as a Star Trek-fan, i really wanted to like the new ST-movies. And i really want to like the new CBS series planned. It doesnt mean that i'm going to like it, but i really really would want to.

Don't know man. Maybe if the people commenting swapped the word "wanted" with "hoped" then it wouldn't sound so weird: "I hoped I'd like the new ST-movies" etc. Just sayin.

I get what you're saying, though it seems like just a question of semantics.

So true.

The show is so stupid that Amy Shumer would not steal any of its material!
