Love the show but the ratings are awful this season unfortunately.

I think it's mainly because it's a dramedy and not just a plain sitcom like The Exes and Hot in Cleveland. Still I enjoy this show and hope it continues for a couple of more years. I want them to get to the part where everyone learns Buddy is a fake and seeing how their reactions will be. share

You are right there, i'm judging it too harshly. Though Season 1 (maybe because it was newer) felt funnier than the current season to me.
I want them to get to the part where everyone learns Buddy is a fake and seeing how their reactions will be.
That's the only thing i'm waiting for, but it probably won't affect things much because he's helped the community so much and changed their lives, too. share
I hope it will be. So far it is the funniest show in my opinion.
shareI hope it sticks around. It's the best comedy on tv right now. I like that it's not sitcom funny. It reminds me more of deeper comedies on cable, like Weeds and Hung. It's loaded with exciting plotlines. It being only a half hour, plus every episode ends in a cliffhanger. It just leaves you wanting more.
The regular sitcoms I watch, like Kevin James, Odd Couple and Man With a Plan. Sometime a half hour seems too long, and I feel it wouldn't be worth sitting through all the commercials(If I had to sit through them).
