Doesn't really explain the absence of supernatural element in TNO

Now for those who have played the Wolfenstein games since the 90s, its known the Nazis employ technological and supernatural means to fight the war.

However in The New Order, it can be seen that they pretty much took over the world with just technology alone(of course stolen from Da'at Yichud). Which means that somewhere along the way they have dropped all efforts in occult/paranormal research.

Was hoping that this game would explain that but it doesn't. It can be assumed that due to Helga's failure by the end, that Deathshead doesn't even bother anymore with the supernatural but that seems like a stretch.

I understood it as that Deathshead didn't really care about the paranormal but gave Helga one last chance to try and find the secret to resurrecting the dead. He partnered her up with Schreiber(?) so that he could keep an eye on her.

When Deathshead realized that she was dead and that her mission was a failure, he dropped the hope for winning the war through paranormal means and eventually managed to develop an atom bomb.
