I made it half way, had to end it.

I seriously stopped a movie after watching the entire first half. This movie is terrible and not even worth fast forwarding through.

You're braver than me, I think a 10 year old scripted the dialogue but at least the dude in the wheelchair apologised for the "not where but when" quote

I gave up after the project lead guy said some like "We all know that what we built was far too powerful if it falls into the hand of the wrong persons, especially the government"

I think ManlyMan is right, it's not that bad. It's not that good, either (I gave it a 6), but by stopping halfway you missed all the best parts. The second half makes a lot more sense, though some things still really aren't believable; there are some good action scenes with Bell of course doing her own stunts, always exciting to watch; and there's a nice little surprise in the denouement which fundamentally changes the nature of almost everything that came before.

"I'm here to help. Don't eat the help."

It comes off as a first draft, where logic hadn't been refined, and technical details had yet to be added. I got the feeling the writer obtained his technical information from watching bad TV shows about time travel.

It's really not a bad story. The acting is pretty horrible and decisions made by characters don't make sense for a collection of smart people, not to mention the horrible introduction scene where the NSA agent in the van tells us who all the characters are by way of describing who each person is to her partner ... shouldn't he already have been briefed BEFORE the mission?

It's OKAY shlock. I finished it because I was curious what crazy time paradox things they would come up with.

There are worse things to watch on Netflix.

With that said, PRIMER exists and makes all other indie time travel films obsolete by comparison.
