One of the worst ever movies

I hate this movie with every fiber of my being. That was fifteen minutes of my life that I'll never get back, and fifteen minutes of the worst cinema that I can't somehow un-see. I would like to punch the director.

I agree wholeheartedly. The agents parked in a van, directly across from where the "scientists" met were somehow magically not noticed at all. The script, acting, and directing were beyond horrible. If you want a lesson in what NOT to do if you're interested in writing a script, acting, or directing, then watch this movie in its entirety.

Yeah, I chuckled at that. WE IN THE MOVIE AUDIENCE could even see them in the van... how could the time travel team not notice them?

reply

They did see them, but with a gate, a locked safety door, a security team, a pass protected elevator shaft and a secure lab fifty feet underground to protect them, why is a nondescript white van, parked across the road anything to be worried about?

reply

No, they clearly didn't see them (except the guy who called them, who stupidly walked toward them and stared at them most of the time... making it even more laughably stupid that none of the others noticed them, sitting there in their white van in the middle of the night, clearly surveilling them).

The movie is 90 minutes, so maybe you meant a different "Paradox"? Like this one maybe (19 minutes): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0800156?

reply

Nope. It was just so bad that I could only take fifteen minutes before turning it off.

reply

I agree it was slow to take-off, but after the first time-travel event (around 20 minutes in), it's pretty non-stop.

Paradox was a piss poor film but thinking you have a right to judge a 90 minute film based on watching anything less than 90 minutes is laughable.

It's like tearing off the corner of a painting and being critical of the whole thing.

Paradox is bad, but watch a film through or don't judge it. I've seen plenty of films which turned themselves around in the closing moments. Paradox was not one of them, if it weren't for Bell this had been a complete washout.

I read three words of your review and stopped because your review is so bad I couldn't read any more.

So many films on these boards keep getting called "The worst Film ever" that the phrase has lost all meaning.
This is not the worst film ever, there are far far worse films more qualified than this for that title, this is not the worst sci fi film ever, this is not even the worst time travel film ever.
It's 90 minutes of entertaining fluff, that does not insult the intelligence of the audience, does not spoon feed the plot to them and has a genuinely intriguing who done it element, once you accept the initial time travel plot device.

The "twist" I grant you is telegraphed well in advance but none the less is satisfying.
