I know this says it's a mini series but I really think and hope they renew for a second season. I think it could have more than one season and it's an awesome show!!! I love it!! I hope they renew for at least another season because it could last more than one season..

The DVD is out soon, so I suppose if Sales are good there is a chance.

shareEven though I am enjoying it, I don't want a second season. If they do go for another year it should be a two or three season series tops. Some shows do not have enough premise to last past a certain point. Remember how Heroes was good when it started? They never should have done more than one year because it just couldn't keep it up.

I feel your pain about the reality/competition shows. I know why they do it, because they are dirt cheap to make. That doesn't mean people will want to watch reruns of unscripted television though, or that they are any good. Give me a good scripted show any day over that unscripted trash.

shareSo agree. I would like to see this series continue. It is very well done and it is a good program to have in you cache. I usually let it record four or five episodes then put on the popcorn and do a mini marathons! Very nice on lazy days and totally entertaining. Please don't cancel it!

shareI've really been enjoying this show, too, and would like another season. But I do worry that it might end up like Sleepy Hollow, which was awesome for the first season, then lost its magic in season 2. On the other hand, the show seems to have gotten better as it's progressed so there's that.
Since the show is playing fast and loose with timelines, if there is another season, I would love it if Rose Mackenberg made an appearance. She worked with Houdini in the 1920's to expose fraudulent psychics, often going undercover in various disguises.

This show has me hooked - great stories, superb actors, the look of the whole thing (sets, costumes, etc.) is top notch. Though it airs on Fox, it looks as good as any period series on PBS. I look forward to having this on DVD/Bluray soon.
