Define irony

Irony is great, not if you need the script to figure out what's happening though. The concept reminds me of Birdman which I also hated. I'm wincing through every scene waiting for Miley, as this seems to be the only part of it worth watching. Xmas turkey 1/10

I loved Birdman and I hated this. I fail to see any similarity apart from the fact that neither worked for you. I don't recall Birdman being particularly ironic. I'm not sure that this was either--seemed like they were straddling the line between irony and sincerity. The problem here wasn't that so much as the lack of story, a lousy script, no interpersonal chemistry, no sense of joy, and a severe lack of Christmas spirit. There wasn't even any Christmas in the atmosphere. No Christmas lights or anything.

I hate this and bird man... Now I've said that, I feel much better:)

This is a Turkey. Birdman was terrific.

I guess my experience of Birdman was different. To me it was a camera following a theatre show behind the scenes. After continuing to watch the Miley part that people were raving about, I still wasn't impressed, surprised maybe that should could tone it down a little. As for Cooney's part, I can imagine him hiding behind that tree waiting for his line and thinking ......I'm doing this for Bill, I'm doing this for Bill.

Honestly, that was my favorite part!
I got a fit of the giggles when Clooney popped out from behind that tree singing "Santa Claus wants some lo-vin'!"

Hilare.

Irony is Miley Cyrus singing Silent Night. That's like Jeffery Dahmer doing a cooking show.

I'd watch Dahmer do a cooking show .Great concept !
