I loved it

I am so glad I watched this movie inspite of the low ratings. I have always loved Bill Murray and thought he was great. Yes, it was a bit sarcastic, but it was a great group of entertainers who put their egos aside to entertain us in a non-traditional way. I don't quite understand why so many feel it necessary to say one entertainer would make a show better or why would a certain person be cast in a role. My advice, go to Hollywood and become a producer, writer, etc and make your perfect film. In the meantime, this is a unique special.

I agree I loved it too. It had the perfect mix of old fashioned Christmas special camp and Bill Murray schtick. It also had a great mix of musical numbers, most just people singing the best they can, even if not perfectly,(kind of like our family gatherings) but some numbers were musically amazing.

I'm not a fan of Miley Cyrus, but holy crap did she knock it out of the park being the musical diva.

Not only traditional Christmas classics but new and oddly weird Christmas songs too.

It surprised me how much I got wrapped up in this.

I perfectly understand how some might hate this, but for me...fantastic.

I really enjoyed this movie too. I found it to be almost like real life. Not sugar coated Hollywood crap. Like being able to see the pimples and the warts without the makeup. So Bill, Chris, and George can't sing. We kind of knew that going in. George couldn't sing in Oh Brother Where Art Thou, what made us think he could sing well now. Chris Rock, come on. That's the entertainment value. Most of us can't sing for *beep* either. But give us a few egg nogs wth rum and a festive mood and we jump right in with the season favorites. No different here. The movie even introduced me to a couple of new songs.

Santa Clause wants some lovin'!

I could not stop laughing even if I wanted to during that number.

I for one hate Christmas, holidays, family gatherings and traditional things of this sort, but this entire movie was nothing short of incredible in my eyes. You could just tell everybody was having so much fun being together doing this goofy Christmas special with America's favorite Uncle Bill.
