The director trolled the producers so hard!

All in all, this is a bad movie. But, man, I must appreciate the boldness of the style. It's super stylish it's absurd! I can't imagine how the filmmakers could convince the studio to get funding.

Everything in this movie is eye rolling. To the max! It sets like in the traditional Robin Hood story, but everything else is ultra modern. It's almost Star Wars! It took the already ludicrous King Arthur movie and turned it to 11.

They wore robes like leather jackets, rode horses like frickin' motorcycles and shot arrows like they're machine guns. Crazy!

The ridiculousness is through the roof. I can't stop saying wtf wtf wtf all the time. It's really stupid but also kinda cool at the same time. Truly bizzare. I can't stop watching this. It's memerizing.

And they take themselves oh so seriously, complete with several "deep meaning" plot points. All the actions scenes were really really well shot, tightly choreographed and, honestly, pretty exciting while being super duper incredibly silly. The CGI are well done too, they blend nicely with the rest of the live action parts. It's surprisingly competently made film.

Combined with extra hammed acting and saturday morning cartoon villain characters, I believe they actually managed to make a probably THE HIGHEST BUDGETED PARODY MOVIE of Robin Hood. And they even set up for the sequels!

I don't think the director would find a job making movies again for a long long time after trolling the studio and producers this hard. I bet he did it for the lulz!
