Old Bruce Wayne

So, if it is possible, do you think Terry McGuinness could possibly make an appearance? I've been the biggest fan of Batman Beyond since I was a kid.

That could be a way for them to get around the weirdness using Batman in the series; have him show up as Batman in the future and just have vague mention of Bruce Wayne like a line about how, "Bruce handed the mantle down to me all those years ago."

Though it would have to be in the distant future; I'm still sticking to my theory that a young Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent are watching and drawing inspiration from the Green Arrow and Flash's exploits.

I view it from the opposite end.

My pet theory is that Batman pre-dates the Arrow in this universe - based on the fact that Talia al Ghul was a kid in 1960. Its not really my theory per se, I read it somewhere else online, but its one I've taken a liking to and have expanded upon.

In my theory, Bruce started out as Batman sometime in the early 1970's, and probably carried on for the next two to three decades. By the turn of the century though, he'd definitely retired (or died or whatever). By the time Oliver Queen left for the fateful trip that left him stranded on Lian Yu, Batman had faded to myth...he was an urban legend who was famous in Gotham, and maybe others outside Gotham vaguely remember hearing about the exploits of some vigilante, but he wasn't a household name certainly.

Batman not being a household name? HAHAHA In no DC universe that can happen... Yeah, Bruce and Clark are just kiddos or even babies in this universe... Maybe this universe is the same as "Gotham" were Bruce is a kiddo.
