The only examples of this we have seen were when we went to Star City in the future (Sara and Ray never came back) and when we went to D.C. in the 1980s (Amaya never came back to the JSA).
The thing is, Amaya was planning to leave the JSA anyway with Rex and go back to Zambezi Village, so it is unclear that the timeline wouldn't have played out the exact same way whether she is put back or not. Clearly Amaya has to give birth to her daughter so that daughter can give birth to present day Vixen, but because we haven't seen Vixen in the present since Amaya was pulled from the timeline, we do not know if her being pulled has really had an impact. In fact, it is possible that Nate is supposed to have been present day Vixen's grandfather all along.
It is possible that Ray and Sara never go back to living normal lives in the timeline. They may both be time travelers for the rest of their lives. The only event that one of them is destined to be at is the Red Skies event in 2024 where The Flash vanishes in a crisis, where Atom helps save people in Central City who are affected by the fighting. He can do that as a time traveler.
It was explained that the death of Rip's wife and son motivates Rip to affect history in all the events we saw in Season 1, which had gone differently in another version of the timeline. So their deaths have to take place or it would be a paradox. So I wonder if another evil person comes to power or if somehow a pocket version of Vandal Savage still exists in the future. It is like how Eobard Thawne still exists in Season 1 of The Flash because if he doesn't create the Flash it would cause too many paradoxes.
So I think that Damien Darkh will still exist and do all the things he does before he dies in 2016. In fact, much like Vandal Savage he will probably be made into some sort of pocket version because his actions have too much impact on the timeline. Especially if he is killed again.
