They never wanted to do a show about superheroes...

I don't think that the writers of LOT ever really wanted to do a show about superheroes to begin with.. Since the show has began they have gotten rid of practically all of the metahumans, and tech based superheroes and focused more on the homosexual exploits of Sara and now Constintine.. They have gotten rid of Captain Cold, Firestorm, Vixen, Hawkman/Hawkwoman Rip Hunter and I hear that The Atom is on his way out.. Yet have the gall to wonder why the ratings are so bad. They may as well have taken the budget of this show and made another Riverdale spinoff.

I loved the first couple of seasons. It was funny with okay plots.

I saw it as an American Dr. Who due to the lead character who was like him, and is now gone.

This last season, the one on Netflix, had too much homosexual stuff, which I think is odd for a family show. It is okay to imply it but there's too much "fucking" and it's not romantic. There also isn't much heterosexual stuff. I don't need that either as I want to watch adventure stories and any adventure I've been involved in did not make me horny, usually the opposite.

I did some research and of course the guy running the show is gay. My experience with such guys is that they are obsessed with sex and everything reminds them of it.

The network needs to fix things up. As with all superhero stuff, any moron knows what fans want, and you can't let weirdos ruin it.

See I didn't know that the guy running the show was gay.. Now it all makes perfect sense. The Waverider is nothing more than a homosexual night club traveling through time and space.

I was sad to read it but figured.

It's one thing to try to add gay characters and try to normalize it by having them date, or show love, but when the heavy making out started, I knew there had to be a gay dude behind it. The Constantine gayness is gross. He looks like a guy who when get drunk and fuck a guy in the ass after he just took a shit in the mens room.

I mean that too.

I have kinda stopped watching on Netflix. I used to love when a new season of Flash, Supergirl, and this came on. They were my post work destressing treats. Supergirl has gotten crazy with the gay and trans stuff too.

I work in psych and am around gay people and trans frequently. But, there's a lot of emergencies and there's no time for sex, talking about it, etc. I would assume superheroes on missions would be much the same.

Oh god... at least it's not 'bigger on the inside'.... oO

Torchwood comes to mind...

a good show ruined by an overt gay agenda.

They literally reuse the same storyline every freaking season. They save the day, ruin the timeline, Now some aliens/monsters/Magic stuff or some McGuffins are scattered in the time-stream & they have to fix it & find 'em

They save the day. They find the stuff/people/monsters/aliens. They restore the timeline. By Saving it, they ruin it some more & literally rinse & repeat that EXACT same plot

At least the first 3 seasons kept things interesting & used some awesome DC characters. But now, it's absolutely cringe to watch. And they use the most random characters

Could've honestly been a "Brave & the Bold" type. Meaning, they could've used & highlighted the most underused & underrated DC characters but then again, the show stopped being a ComicBook show a long ass time ago. Not even John Constantine could save the day. And he's a pretty great character

“The show stopped being a comic book show a long . . . time ago.”

That’s why we fans like it. Comic book TV shows are not good. Legends is subversive. You come for the McComic Book. You stay for the fun.

And the ratings are SO BAD that it’s been renewed.
