Watching on Netflix, but not Liking the Season.

Previous seasons had a plot and were fun. I love fast paced shows with witty dialogue.

Such stuff doesn't have to be great, due to the fun writing. So, I was okay with a fairly light show that seemed geared toward family. I have very stressful work and it was fun to watch.

The season I'm watching seems to push homosexuality a lot. I typically DO NOT CARE who anyone is having sex with. I don't care if a character is gay as long as there is a story.

However, I got massively turned off when the two females became children and were gay children then they were about to kiss and just before, became adults. I assume that was because you can't show children making out homosexually.

Then, the magic guy, name slipping mind, spends a show or two making out with a black dude, and oh yeah, there's some magic creature running around, to make a plot.

Supergirl is a great show and has been doing similar things. I'm a trans superhero in love with a male android. I am so confused watching this. Is that a female actress playing a trans alien superhero or is it a real trans person playing the role.

I can't imagine sitting with kids watching these shows trying to explain. I'm a 53 year old psychotherapist and find myself confused!

Does it seem too much?

The Magic Guy is Constantine. He’s had sex with Sara, so they both seem to be bisexual. Or Pansexual. Or Meterosexual. Or Sapiosexual. Oh, hell, they fuck anything that moves, is dead, or both.

What season are you in on Netflix? It’s hard to reply to your query absent some orientation. The CW is home to SJW, so I understand your confusion. The Legends is, to me, pure gold, because it is the Mad Magazine of the CW, mocking the corporate decisions that shape the editorial content of the programs, and having NO problems with making fun of itself. What, me worry? Corporate clearly dictates that The Legends series conforms to ludicrous SJW standards. Legends responds with a romance between 2 Werewolves, killer Unicorns that eat human hearts and Uber-macho Mick Rory writing romance novels under a female nom de plume. Personally, I find a subtle “fuck you” to CW Corporate in almost every ep of The Legends. All episodes are not equally good. Let me know where you are in the series’ timeline, and maybe I can be more helpful. Right now, I CAN say that it gets better as it moves along, which I cannot say for other CW landfill, I mean, series. *Cough Arrow, Flash, Cough*

The director is gay, that's why.

They are obsessed with themselves, typically not that smart, and shallow.

That's what happened to Dr. Who when it came back. The old shows were science fiction and the new shows were about running around screaming and monsters.

You aren't going to get thought provoking themes from someone focused on "kissing" and whatnot. The reality is that if you were in these situations there would be no time for romance.

I did not know that. Thanks for the info.

I actually looked it up.

On one Legends show the two females were transformed in children and of course they were "gay children". Gay children is a fantasy created by homosexuals. Unless you were sexually molested, you have no idea what sex is and aren't anything. Many homosexuals mistake "love" feelings for sex and so they make an erotic thing out of neutral wholesome feelings. That's why they will say, "I knew I was gay when I was five" and so forth. Anyway, these two little girls were gay and then when they were about to kiss, because I doubt they could show that, they transformed into women.

That and the hard kissing with Constantine and the black guy, I was like WTF, there's some kind of pervert at work here. I found out who was making the show.

Meanwhile, I have been okay with gay characters for DECADES. A LONG TIME AGO there was a show called Love Sidney about a gay guy. So, having gay characters is nothing new, but for me they have to be "people" and not just displays of "fucking". The characters in Legends "fuck" and they aren't people with fleshed out characters who happen to be gay.

That's some perverted shit right there.

To answer what you implicitly asked earlier, the show does not get any better from your perspective. I don’t think you will enjoy it, if you continue. You may even find that it deteriorates.

Yeah, they cranked the agenda knob to 11. That's pretty much part of the show now. I can put up with it cause the rest of the writing is still firecrackin fun. I don't mind the character's sexual orientations. They organically fit. Especially anything goes Constantine. But when it stops being a fantasy show and starts being a CW soap opera, it's pretty damn annoying.

I like the dialogue and pace, which is why I watch the show.

But as I've said in my previous post, I don't think the gayness is organic. I think it shows them "fucking" and not people. Plus, the characters don't "act gay" which is a real part of being gay. I have known a HORDE of gay people in real life and lived in NYC where there are probably a million gay males. Almost all are people you can instantly tell are gay.

There are a lot of weightlifter gays, I love lifting, and they are very hard to tell, as are biker gays, unless they have the giant mustache, lol.

The gays on this show are shown "fucking" to prove they are gay. They don't give the impression of people who live a gay lifestyle.

It is VERY VERY corny to me.
