Renewed For A 5th Season!

More Legends coming next year! The 5th season debuts next January, probably meaning another 16-episode season, like the one just ended. That may be a good thing. To me, Legends is EASILY the best and brightest hero show on The CW. I think the cast is really gelling nicely and they all seem very willing to make fun of themselves and have a good time, something that would make Ollie Stone’s face crack and fall off. Against steep odds, the mission-shift from time criminals to magic creatures has taken on a life of its own. Having a season that is 6 episodes shorter than the other CW comic book shows should mean that the writing will be tighter. I believe that The Legends will be included in the annual Crossover Derby next season. Good times!

EDIT The season will pit The Legends against some of the worst monsters in history, like Caligula, Mary Tudor, John Wayne Gacy, Joseph Stalin, Gengis Kahn, Lizzie Borden, Charles Manson, and Grigori Rasputin. Gonna be a challenge to get some chuckles around so many killers, but I believe in The Legends. If you can make a Unicorn terrifying, you can probably make a serial killer funny.
