I wrote 'hand in a cast'.
Another serious plot hole: this was a 4x4 Jeep (albeit with street tires), but he never put it in 4 wheel drive, and he never straightened out the front wheels before attempting to get it out of the ditch.
This was someone who was used to winter driving (Massachusetts), and growing up in this environment, one would know these simple things.
The only tire that spun was the back one. If in 4x, one of the front would grip too. And if it had posi-traction, it would've been a piece of cake.
Not knowing how to get out of a snowbank? Come on!
