Daymond was 100% correct when he told the belt tycoon to watch out. Houses like that should not be built when a business is still this new because unforeseen circumstances could take everything away from him. He was also driving a car that starts at a low-low price of about $120K. These kind of spending habits are worrisome and could be signs of future problems with his business decisions. On a side note, he needed to build more space beyond the 3 point line.

He can easily afford the car and the house, as he comes from a successful Mormon family:

is there something i'm missing? he's just a professor?

i mean definitely means good income but even 200k (which is really high end) i don't think would enable his child to afford such a house

Trust me when I say he comes from a wealthy family, and has become wealthy himself. ;-)

That house was crazy ostentatious. He acts like that belt will keep selling and selling when it could easily come and go. He seemed a bit miffed when Daymond called him out on it.
