Anyone else watching?

I've been binge watching it on Ch4's site. Anyone else doing the same?

Any word if season 2 will be made available as well? Or if there are any sites currently streaming season 2 with English subtitles?

I've been watching it there too. The way they broke up the episodes kind of confused me at first but I see they turned the original 11 chapters into 16. They've taken out some scenes from the original though, which sucks and I can't really figure out why.

What do you mean 'the original'?

I mean the uncut/unedited version of the show as it originally aired in Spain. They aired 11 episodes that were each roughly 70-80 minutes long (without commercials) for the first season. When they brought the show to the UK they actually cut out a decent amount of scenes from the original or edited the order of the scenes so that they happened later then they originally did. A nice amount were Maca+Rizos scenes, Maca's father+brother, and getting to know some of the other prisoners.

For example in the original, (UK episode 5 spoilers); Maca gave Rizos Palacios' phone right before she told Rizos that she wanted her to stay away from her (because of Saray). There's a scene that was cut out where Rizos uses the phone in solitary confinement to call Maca on the prison phones as a family emergency. Then she apologizes for hitting her with the tray and noticed Maca bumped her stomach into the table and wanted to make sure her baby was ok.

Maca tells Rizos she didn't mean what she said. She confesses that she only said it because Saray threatened her to stay away and that she's sorry too but the call gets interrupted by Valbuena entering solitary and fighting with Rizos to take the phone away from her. In the UK version they skip over all of that and jump into Tere accusing Palacios and Palacios being called into Miranda's office saying that his phone was found on one of the prisoners.

I've just finished watching season one. I liked that it although there are many flaws but look forward to season two ...not sure when and where I can watch in the UK though...
