Sooooooo a trip up north, some new clothes, and a few fancy meals was supposed to make up for the fact that you HUNG my son??? And then you were just going to leave my other son here to work in the fields when he is now all I have??? Master...U trippin!!!

Also, was he moving up North for god with Earnestine??? Was he just leaving his family?

I think he was going to scope out the area he would be in for his political career and maybe find a home etc for when he worked up there but yes you are right he was nuts think he could make things right for killing her son among the MANY other atrocities he inflicted upon her but from HIS point of view it seems reasonable smh
