I hope so.

You do realize August is probably going to switch sides right? He will be next seasons Cato.

reply

I was thinking the same thing. August and Noah become a team for now until August deceives him.

reply

I never thought about that .. These are some good plot twist!!

Yeah juicy! FOR SURE!!!

But I doubt that he will ever forgive Rosa for her hand in stabbing her son.

Iv'e been waiting on August to become "good" for 9.5 episodes!!! I'm worried now with Ben's injury it may never happen though. I hope I am wrong though I would love to see that transformation I felt he was on the brink of break through!

August was out for vengeance for what Rosalee did to his son, but I think that Ben is going to tell his father that he forgives Rosalee for what she did to him and it's going to cause him to have a change of heart and to become much more compassionate to his fellow man... ALL of them. August is not a slave-catcher because of some belief that blacks are inferior and they should be enslaved. He does it as sort of a means to an end. So now that it has affected someone close to him, he's starting to recognize the human toll that the whole system takes on everyone

I hope you are right!

Good idea. I didn't like the idea of his redemption arc, but I think if Ben does this, then it's the only way the redemption arc works.
