Robert Eacey music

Does anyone know who is singing the song playing on the record in the second episode?

reply

It didn't come up on shazam, so it's probbaly a new or obscure artist. Maybe it was produced for the show so they wouldn't have to pay royalties.

reply

I thought it sounded a lot like Jack White (White Stripes).

"SENDING AN ANGEL TO WATCH OVER YOU"

reply

There are a lot of similarities to Robert Johnson. Both were acoustic blue man that possible got killed by their girlfriend

reply

I too would like to know the name of this song, sounded awesome. It definitely did sound a bit like Jack White

According to @bmastersb the song is Down from the Mountain by Robert Eacey off Somnambulism

reply

Thank you...does anyone know how to find it??

reply

You can get it right on Amazon. It's a single song, not an EP or album. Just search in digital music under Eacey. 99ยข

The name of the song is "All Gone" from Robert Eacey's "Somnambulism" album.

reply

Right, although try Googling Robert Eacey and/or his Somnambulism album and see what you come up with. It just doesn't seem to exist.

At least this one song is suddenly, magically available on YouTube. It's fabulous.

reply

Yup. Googling for Robert Eacey and Somnambulism won't turn up anything. All gone. (pun intended).

In this beautifully haunting song, Robert Eacey sounded eerily like Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant, with Jimmy Page on guitar and John Bonham on drums.

You Tube is the only place i can find not only this song, but any reference to Robert Eacey. Let's hope it becomes available for download!

You can find a download on CD Baby:

Every time there's a scene with the song in it, I have to rewatch the scene multiple times to actually see what's going on in the show, because I'm so completely captivated by it. It's like a tiny brain bomb. Who is this guy?!

reply

Me too. Then after the show is finished, I head to YouTube and play it on repeat. :)

reply

It know it's supposedly by Robert Eacey but boy it sounds like Robert Plant - especially his work with Band of Joy
