Ajala's wooden acting?

Although it had some issues, I still liked it.
But one major grievance was Ajala's acting.
He will stand in position and precisely enunciate his lines, with barely any naturalness. He never created any kind of character, I was very conscious this was a man-trying-to-act in virtually every scene. And even his physical movement was stilted.

Anyone else get this or is it just me?
