What did you think of Frozen II?

I saw Frozen II on Disney+ and my opinion on it is that while being a nice movie and all Disney I think tried to rush the film out to theaters just so the toys could be the must-have Christmas toys last year. On the film itself I think Disney wanted to make a flashback type of movie so fans could see what Anna And Elsa's life was before Frozen began so in a sense Frozen II is not really a sequel but a prequel to Frozen but I think Disney recycled the original Frozen and added more action scenes to it to make it more exciting to watch. On the songs of Frozen II I agree that Into The Unknown might be the new Let It Go but the weakest song is Lost In The Woods and I do think it does sound like something that Peter Cetera of the band Chicago would sing and they should've given Kristoff a better solo song that would've sounded great. My other weakest link with the movie is as with all the other Disney movies is why did they choose to get rid of Olaf when he is a favorite character of Frozen fans and his song was great and he was funny in Frozen II but why did Disney give him a sad demise? So if you like Frozen avoid Frozen II and stick with Frozen

I think it was a bit lazy. Too much of it reminded me of the original: not just elements of the plot but also the music. They very much (and very clearly) tried to replicate the success of the original. They were successful with that but not successful in creating a movie that was as good as the first one imho. I gave the sequel a 6/10.

I'd give it a B+

Okay, not great, but I loved the costumes and some of the songs were still good.

I am not a big fan of the series, but find the movies entertaining.
