What is the purpose to dye Mckenna Grace's hair?

She is blonde, why spend money to make her brunette?

I can understand the reason to put a glasses on her to looks nerdy. But what is the purpose to dye hair?

reply

Phoebe rules. And dark hair goes better with the outfit she has for the next movie.

Oh my. This is interesting, but what does it have to do with the topic?

reply

Blondes are naturally stupid, you can't have a smart blonde character.

reply

It's been prove blondes have higher IQ many many years ago, you can google "blondes IQ"

I think real world testing trumps experimental results.

I wish Trump's IQ results were public.

reply

Trump has an IQ of 0

To make her look closer to her grandfather in appearance.

reply

But... the mother is blonde, why not dye her hair to look like her father?

It's a weird choice, spend time and money to dye a child's hair for... no reason?

reply

Lol, the money for those things is trivial pennies compared to other costs of production. They wanted the visual association to Egon, to remind everyone she is related to a Ghostbuster, which is more important than associating her to her mom.

reply

I'm saying Carrie Coon is blonde too, why not dye her hair to look like Egon?

They are both blonde, they are both relate to Egon, one is his child, one is his grandchild.

reply

Because Coon was ancillary character. It didn't matter either way.

reply

I agree with this, not that it was necessary, but this is the reason.

reply

To make her look like Egon.

reply

Literally every actress dye their hair for a movie, ffs
