Thought it was going to be part III

Not necessarily a flop or mediocre hit, you can't do a proper part III now it's been thirty one years since Ghostbusters 2, the Ghostbusters 3 fans wanted needed to be made way back in the 90's otherwise a new movie wouldn't be a straight sequel with the original cast, problem now is Ramis is no longer around the other guys are too old, a new instalment to the franchise needed a new take with younger talent and the filmmakers knew it.
