Teen busters uniforms

Will the teen busters Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace and Logan Kim bust ghosts in GB uniforms or their normal casual clothes?

reply

We know as much as you do at this point. However, based on the photos, it looks like normal clothes. It appears the kids stumble upon all the old equipment in an old farm house and accidently release some ghosts. This leads them to have to become unofficial Ghostbusters and go around town retrapping the ghosts. Beyond this, there's no word on if these kids will be actual Ghostbusters or if there is already a new team of GBs training under the originals.

reply

Don't know if they accidentally release ghosts but certainly stumble upon the old equipment, the only new adult cast members are Paul Rudd and Carrie Coon so it would probably mean the kids are the Ghostbusters

Normal clothes would make it easier to tell who is who like The Real Ghostbusters having different color uniforms and Extreme Ghostbusters having different style uniforms.

Since this is a legacy sequel/reboot you would have to reintroduce audiences to the world of Ghostbusters by having like Ghostbusters being out of business since Ghostbusters 2 and The Video Game for decades.

Oh, the Ghostbusters "uniforms" are a must! It's just not Ghostbusters without the overalls!

Because the overalls are highly practical as well as iconic, once a person has been SLIMED they'll appreciate the value of fluid-resistance overalls that can be changed out in a moment.

reply

It may be the filmmakers prefer Extreme Ghostbusters where most of them didn't wear the classic coveralls. I think only Roland did.

reply

Since billions of people remember the "Ghostbusters" movies fondly, and only the most dedicated fans remember the existence of "Extreme Ghostbusters" (I didn't, I had to google), I assume that the filmmakers will be more likely to go with the look of the original films. Because that will make more money.

Plus, the overalls are not only practical, they will have the peculiar effect of making the film date less with time. I defended the Hogwarts uniforms of the Harry Potter films on the same grounds; in the decades to come any current fashions in a movie will look ridiculously dated, but witches/academic robes or overalls are not part of current fashion and will therefore never look dated.

It is sad they quit making coveralls. I wanted to buy new pair last year but every local store and online store only sold just snow pants and a thick jacket. I'd rather have them in one big suit. But oh well. I'll just keep the ones I have.

reply

They must be made somewhere! Check Amazon and Ebay, or your local farm supply store. You can get amazing stuff at farm supply stores, I got my good hiking boots at one for 1/3 of what theyd cost at REI.

reply

I should try amazon again.

reply

If they get uniforms may not be the OG ones but jumpsuits they find for their size, be cool if they're different colours like Real Ghostbusters.

reply

Trailer shows them in their everyday clothes but seems like those scenes seem they're early in the film, maybe they'll start wearing the classic uniforms later on.
