What about Candy?!?

I was waiting the whole movie for Candy to turn up again. Why did they include that scene? It was a bad scene but I liked Candy.

This question has been asked before. The scene is to show how naive and awkward Bobby is regarding sex and meeting girls so that you can more easily separate that from how he turned, as the glad-handing confidant impressario who spots a beautiful woman (his future wife) at a nightclub and immediately asks her out.

I don't think it was in any way necessary to show that Bobby was awkward and naive regarding sex and women. It was painfully obvious from seeing him handle himself, in general, that he wasn't a ladies' man.

Also, I don't think that scene really established that he was bad with women so much as it just showed that he was uneasy about hiring a hooker - particularly one as naive and vulnerable as that one.

i was rooting for her to return as a possible wife for him lol.

I love Anna Camp.

I love Anna Camp too. The movie would have been more interesting if she was a love interest. The only purpose of that scene for me was that it was a unique way to show how neurotic Bobby is. (Woody basically)
