Episode 2
This isn't even remotely original. But, to be fair, episode 2 was an improvement on episode 1 - more engaging.

shareIts too scandi-noir but episode 2 was a slight improvement but its still a poor series.
It's that man again!!
I don't mind a bit of decent scandi-noir. But, jumping on the scandi-noir bandwagon and not doing it particularly well annoys me - that dreary thing set in the Shetlands a year or so ago was the worst example I've seen; "Hinterland" did it rather well, though... What I'd really like to see is some genuinely original television. But, if broadcasters can get reasonable ratings from relatively little effort, that's what they'll do... Sadly, it's getting to the point where the BBC is just as guilty of that as the commercial channels.

Loved Hinterland, was thinking of giving shetland a try... is it that bad?

Not bad so much as dull.
