Depression + medication

I'm really surprised by the attitude in this crap about taking medication for depression, & about suddenly stopping taking medications.
Firstly, taking medication for an illness isn't some sort of 'giving in', if medications help cure/improve a condition it's ridiculous & dangerous to tell or encourage someone to stop taking them.
Secondly, if someone suddenly stops taking medication for a mental health problem, it can be incredibly dangerous, causing psychosis or major depressions.
This program has seriously misrepresented the implications of taking medication and/or stopping taking medications suddenly.
I don't know if the arty camera work, photography or weirdly scripted dialogue and conversations were trying to imply these issues, but if they were, they majorly failed.

Good point. The biggest problem with mental health issues is that people stop taking medication because they do not want to be dependent or because of side effects. However it is worse when you stop taking them.

As one famous depressive musician said, I felt less creative when I was taking medication, on the other hand I did not have thoughts of taking a drill to my head.

It's that man again!!
