Far better than Dragon Ball Super!

As an old Dragon Ball fan it's kinda upsetting to say but I've been enjoying One Punch Man so much more than Super. One Punch Man packs so much more awesomeness, comedy, action and stylish fights than Super manages too. The animation also looks spectacular and the music is equally as great, too.

To be honest, it should come as no surprise One Punch Man is a product of Mad House so I shouldn't have expected any less of them. 

If Dragon Ball was in Mad House's hands wow.. I couldn't begin to imagine how amazingly brutal the show would be but no, it won't happen, Toei has their claws all over it.

Well, DB Super is one of the worst animes I've watched lol. This is in another category entirely, with top animators working on it (director of Space Dandy).

Thats not fair though. One Punch is a parody to Shonen cliches (Dragon ball, Naruto, all this spectrum) and it's really smart (and funny for that matter) at times. That makes it what it is, and that is a high quality smart humorous action anime. You can see they have lots of fun with the possibilities on the parody realm, and the "lessons" either the obvious saitama ones and the subtext ones are great a come of in a organic way.

Dragon ball is dragon ball. It wouldnt be right if it goes to that stretch. Ive been laughing a lot to the good spirited old Dragon Ball fun. And the couple of last episodes with Goku and Vegueta training have very really enjoyable and has upped their game (The story is getting more interesting, as well of the universe. Which is not easy feat to for a long running series). Also I'd guess after they do the movies retelling, it should get more interesting.

So im happy to have both shows!

The latest episode (21) was literally, Super boring! Nothing interesting really happened minus towards the end which just meant "wait until next week!". And yeah sure, I agree, DBS still feels like DB but it could offer more than just that.

The problem with DBS is that it's just a drawn out version of the movies that have been released. No new content, just them retelling the same thing but with more talking, not better talking, just more of it. As a long time fan of the Dragon Ball series I'm really disappointed in it so far.

One punch man, is out of every league of every anime, so yes its FAR BETTER then DBS, but also farrrrrrrrrrr better then DBZ !

Dragon ball super wont be better if it was in mad house hands.. Wait it will probably, but one punch man is so original, and so overwhelmingly good in my opinion
