There's nothing new here ...

This documentary doesn't tell me anything I did not know. In a borough of NYC that has some of the highest rate of over doses per capita in the US. It's something that hits everywhere, and if you don't know about it then you have been living under a rock. I also didn't think the way the director went about it, and the way it bounced around was effective. Wouldn't recommend this to anybody. It's nothing you haven't seen on your local news channels top stories at one point or another.

Thanks for being so completely smug, and letting the majority of the IMDB users know that they live under a rock. The fact is, most people (unless you are in a meeting of Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous) don't think people addicted to prescription drugs, are drug addicts.

And actually, West Virginia has the highest number of overdoses (not over doses) per capita, in the US.

I thought Bell made a good, not great documentary about a very real problem, that is NOT aired on the news, in news stories or depicted in news television magazine stories, at one point or another. I think the last couple of years, has brought more coverage to the fact that prescription drugs are given out more often than candy, and are as easy to buy. Time magazine ran a cover story on the problem, just 6 months ago. So, it isn't "nothing new here".

If you didn't care for the film, fine but don't slew general insults littered with incorrect information, and think you've made a glaring, insightful observation, as a result of your dislike. You haven't but thanks.
