Her parents act like they had her in the 20s... The things she said during their dinner with her and the boyfriend were super ignorant and uncomfortable.
Also, she seems a lot younger and immature than the other ladies on this show. How the heck did she become friends with them?
I think someone posted on here somewhere that Misty is 22? She is a lot younger than the others. I don't think it's unrealistic she became friends with them though. They are all little people, so it's probably a pretty small and tight circle. Jason is 27, but pretty sure Lila is early 30s. So the groups age does range more than most friend groups (that probably only range within a few years).
Misty's parents seemed a bit off. I understand being upset at having a little person child worrying about their struggles. But her mom really plays it up. It's actually surprising Misty doesn't have huge hang ups because of the way her parents acted. That could really make someone have low self-esteem and be uncomfortable in their skin.
